Privacy policy

Our shop recognizes the importance of protecting our customers’ personal information and complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (the “Personal Information Protection Act”). We handle and protect personal information appropriately in accordance with the following Privacy Policy (“this Privacy Policy”).

1. Definition of Personal Information
In this Privacy Policy, “personal information” refers to personal information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Act. This includes information relating to a living individual that can identify a specific person through a name, date of birth, or other description (including information that can be easily cross-referenced with other information to identify a specific individual), as well as information containing personal identification codes.
2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information
Our shop uses customers’ personal information for the following purposes:
  • (1) To provide our shop’s services
  • (2) To provide information and respond to inquiries regarding our services
  • (3) To inform customers about our shop’s products and services
  • (4) To take action against violations of terms, policies, or other rules (“Terms”) related to our services
  • (5) To notify customers of changes to the Terms or related matters
  • (6) To improve our services and develop new services
  • (7) To create statistical data processed into a format that does not identify individuals, related to our services
  • (8) For other purposes incidental to the above purposes
3. Changes to the Purpose of Use
Our shop may change the purpose of use of personal information within a scope reasonably deemed to have relevance. If changes are made, we will notify or publicly announce such changes.
4. Restrictions on Use of Personal Information
Except as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws, our shop will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the stated purposes without customer consent. However, the following cases are exceptions:
  • (1) When required by law
  • (2) When necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property, and obtaining the customer’s consent is difficult
  • (3) When necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children, and obtaining the customer’s consent is difficult
  • (4) When cooperating with a national or local government agency in executing legally prescribed duties, and obtaining customer consent may hinder such duties
5. Proper Acquisition of Personal Information
Our shop acquires personal information appropriately and will not obtain it through deception or other improper means.
6. Security Management of Personal Information
Our shop takes necessary and appropriate measures to supervise employees to ensure the safe management of personal information against risks such as loss, destruction, alteration, or leakage. When outsourcing the handling of personal information, we supervise contractors as necessary and appropriate to ensure proper protection.
7. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
Except where disclosure is permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws, our shop will not provide personal information to third parties without prior customer consent. However, the following cases do not constitute the provision of information to third parties:
  • (1) When personal information is provided to a contractor within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
  • (2) When personal information is provided due to business succession through merger or other reasons
  • (3) When personal information is shared in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act
8. Disclosure of Personal Information
When a customer requests disclosure of their personal information as provided under the Personal Information Protection Act, and after confirming the request is from the customer themselves, our shop will promptly disclose the information (or notify the customer if such information does not exist). However, this does not apply if our shop has no legal obligation to disclose the information.
9. Correction of Personal Information
If a customer requests correction, addition, or deletion (“Correction”) of personal information based on the grounds that the information is untrue, and after confirming the request is from the customer themselves, our shop will conduct necessary investigation within the scope required to achieve the purpose of use and make corrections accordingly. If we decide not to make corrections, we will notify the customer.
10. Suspension of Use of Personal Information
If a customer requests suspension or deletion of use (“Suspension of Use”) of their personal information based on claims that it is handled beyond the publicly announced purpose of use or obtained through improper means, and if such claims are found valid, our shop will promptly suspend use after confirming the request is from the customer themselves. However, this does not apply if we have no legal obligation to suspend use.
11. Use of Cookies and Other Technologies
  • (1) Our shop may use cookies and similar technologies. These technologies help us understand service usage and improve the user experience. Customers may disable cookies via their browser settings; however, some features may not be available when cookies are disabled.
